MUSE 4 Hybrid

Forget about thinking you have to buy a new glider every year. The newly designed Muse 4 embodies designs from MACPARA’s other intermediate performance paragliders. The bonus is that it offers incredible safety and stability that is really fun to fly. This allows pilots to fly more often without the worry of feeling like their flight may be jeopardy. Safety and performance matched together makes this a popular choice for pilots who take a causal approach to flying on weekends. The Muse 4 is certified in the EN A glider category.

The Muse 4 is simple to control on the ground and in the air. You will feel like a pro with its exceptional take off characteristics to get you flying right after inflation with no hassles. It will stay above your head without the tendency to overshoot, collapse or wander off course. The safety in the Muse 4 is best admired by pilots that are looking for a paraglider resistant to collapse. With this glider you can keep your eyes on the scenery instead of being worried about what’s coming next. Flying the Muse 4 you will notice immediately how well it is able to perform everything you need to enjoy the flight without feeling like your missing out. MACPARA hit the target by designing a fun performance glider with high stability characteristics. When flying the Muse 4 on several XC flights we proved that it can fly same distances and speeds like other gliders from high categories and this relaxed. Often we left the landings with a big smile on our lips.

The new Muse 4 has given more attention to the airfoil resulting is a noticeably better glide ratio and in flight stability. The smooth shape of the airfoil nose is maintained by long lasting Mylar reinforcement combined with new age plastic rods. These high tech rods give the front of the glider stability in the air after it effortlessly scoops up the air for a perfect launch.

The Muse 4 is yet another quality made glider by MACPARA that will continue to perform for the years to come. The construction using diagonal ribs and a system of load-bearing tapes together with 3D shaping of panels gives the canopy stability and helps keep a clean profile. The Muse 4 has 46 cells and a nice elliptically shaped canopy with an aspect ratio of 5.16. The glider is light. Just 5.1 kg for the medium size which results in very easy launches. Lines are made from time proven aramid-kevlar series from german manufacturer Edelrid. The lines do not only stand out for their durability and strength, but they maintain the designed geometry of the glider. The glider will keep its good take off characteristics in time. Do not believe me? Ask other pilots how takes off an old MACPARA glider and those from competitors.

Intensive testing resulted in a well balanced glider with simple take-off characteristics and easy behavior during extreme maneuvers. The canopy is very resistant to collapse keeping your flight on track. In the event of a collapse the opening is smooth and fast. In an induced collapse the glider gives a rotation of only 30 degrees. The canopy of the Muse 4 is well damped in all axes but offers lively sporty handling to keep you smiling!

The light brake pressure allows pleasant turns during long thermal flights and increases progressively towards the end to offer a good safety margin. It has a large brake range offering good pilot input to know how the glider is flying above you. The Muse 4 is 3.5 liner paraglider with a 4 point riser system and split to different colored “A” risers for easy big-ears. The shape of the control handles is flexible and offers optimization according to the preferences of the pilot. Perfect for training in paragliding schools. The pilot taking off and in the flight has no tendencies to put hands away from the body like a scarecrow in a field. Do not believe us? Try it!

CHARGER 2

The Charger 2 is a full-blooded reflex paramotoring glider. New and seasoned pilots alike will immediately feel comfortable flying the Charger and appreciate its incredibly easy launching and landing characteristics, superb stability and excellent cruising speed.

The Charger 2 is the ultimate ‘pilot friendly’ paramotor wing, both in the sky and on the ground. Extremely resistant to collapse, the Charger 2 will put you at ease and allow you to enjoy the scenery, instead of worrying ‘what’s next!’. And with the exciting new contemporary look of the Charger, you’ll be the envy of everyone in the air!
While flying this beauty you’ll notice right away that it is capable of performing everything you need to enjoy the air and not feel like your missing out.

The Charger 2, as with all MACPARA gliders, is designed with ease of launch in mind. Our R&D team was especially attentive to performance of the Charger 2 during take-off, as well as, how well it flares while landing. You’ll look like a pro with its no-hassle launch characteristics that will have you airborne immediately after inflation. You will be amazed at well it stays above you without a tendency to collapse or wander off course. Even in nil wind conditions, you can trust the Charger to make your landings safe and predictable. During extended flights, the light-to-moderate brake pressure allows for pleasant turns while progressively increasing toward the end of brake travel, providing a reserve of safety.

TThe glider is undemanding and resistant to collapse even in rough air thanks to the customized reflex airfoils. New design of the Charger 2’s airfoil is resulting in exceptional penetration and in flight stability. The smooth shape of the airfoil nose is maintained by long lasting Mylar reinforcement combined with plastic rods. It features excellent stability throughout the full weight and speed range. The canopy has a dampened roll tendency, but offers good flexibility and agility in turns, and the Charger 2 will not overshoot or hang back. During extended flights, the moderate brake pressure allows for pleasant turns while progressively increasing toward the end of brake travel, providing a reserve of safety. With fully released trims, the steering forces increase significantly. With such trimmer settings, the glider can be controlled via the glider’s stabilizers using additional wing tip steering toggles (called WTST). Likewise, when using the speed system, or in combination with released trimmers, this way of controlling the direction of flight is a great advantage. Even in nil wind conditions, you can trust the Charger 2 to make your landings safe and predictable. The landing flare is pleasantly definable. While losing speed, soft landings are easy to perform as the canopy creates ample buoyancy when making the final pull.

Charger 2 is another quality product from MAC PARA. The elliptical canopy has 50 cells and an aspect ratio of 5.22. The construction of the diagonal ribs and load-bearing straps is transmitting forces from the lines, keep the canopy surface clean and give the wing stability. The glider is light thanks to lighter materials. The weight of the medium size, including the sophisticated risers with stainless steel trimmer clips is 5.5 kg. This is an all around fun glider, perfect for playing in all conditions, with performance to spare!

With the serial risers, which include trimmers and speed system, the Charger 2’s speed range can easily be dialed in to meet the pilot’s wishes. With trimmers pulled in the Charger 2’s climb is similar to non-reflex paragliders. With trim out, speed and penetration increase significantly. For flights of long duration in full reflex mode the Charger 2 can be comfortably controlled using the wingtip steering handles. They are perfectly placed on the risers and ingeniously designed to mimic the lighter forces of serial brakes.

The Charger 2 comes standardly equipped with ergonomically thin, semi-rigid brake handles, including swivels, each with two neodymium magnets, which makes it easier to attach the steering handles to the D straps during flight. The risers feature two pulley settings for low or high brakes depending on your paramotor. Wing tip steering handles are held in position using elastic lines and can be secured to the risers by either neodymium magnets or with press button snaps. There are small self-cleaning canopy holes on the stabilizers.

The use of high-quality materials and constant quality control throughout the manufacturing process produces high quality products. We use Aramid-Kevlar lines of proven series that guarantee correct geometry of your canopy throughout its life. Thanks to their flight characteristics and popularity among pilots, the Chargers retain a high utility value and, in the event of a sale, a high economic value.

You can choose from three serial designs. And if you have different color preferences, below you have the luxury of creating your own design! However, a special design comes at an additional cost and colors are limited by the availability of fabrics.

Through the use of high-grade materials along with constant attention to quality control throughout MAC PARA’S manufacturing process you are assured of getting a superbly crafted paraglider.

The MAC PARA Charger 2 is guaranteed to energize you!

The Charger 2 is manufactured using the paragliding industries well established lightweight materials with excellent durability. Skytex 32 HF and Skytex 40 HF are used for profiles and diagonal ribs. Skytex 38 Universal is used for upper surface and LE on lower surface. Skytex 32 Universal is used for bottom main surface. This gives the advantage of a sail that is both lightweight and very durable.

Colorado

Fun for Demanding Pilots

While developing the Colorado we set out to design a paramotor glider that is safe, stable, easy to launch and land, fast and efficient, and fun to fly for adventurous and demanding pilots.  According to the excellent feedback we are getting from those who have flown the Colorado we are confident that we have achieved our goals!

High Performance Design

One of the challenges while designing reflex gliders has always been maintaining efficiency and glide at fast trimmer settings, not to mention while at full speed bar. One of the first things you will notice while flying the Colorado is that you are not always at full throttle while trying to achieve maximum speed. This means less fuel consumption and greater climb rate. And the payoff is longer cross-country flights! So be prepared to experience a new generation paramotor wing with amazing speed and efficiency! Mac Para R&D team has solved this dilemma by incorporating ‘cutting edge’ technology in the making of the Colorado, which is borrowed from our super-fast and very efficient competition gliders.

Exceptional Handling

The Colorado’s trimmer range offers a wide range of speed settings, from slow to all out fast. But the Colorado is not just a ‘speed machine’. With superb handling, it is also incredibly delightful to fly. For those pilots who like to carve turns and play in the air it will definitely put a smile on your face! The Colorado is very maneuverable, with pleasantly surprising light brake pressure. Which means more fun and less fatigue on longer flights! Wingtip steering toggles for faster trim settings (accelerated flight) come standard on the Colorado, offering yet another reason why you will be more comfortable on longer flights.

And for those advanced pilots who are looking for even more ‘sportiness’, the Colorado can be ordered with optional 2D steering.

Easy and User Friendly

Ground handling and kiting with the Colorado, as to be expected from Mac Para wings, is extremely easy and predictable, which makes for easy launches. Inflation is light and well balanced without tendency to overshoot or sit back. Lift builds quickly even in nil wind, and only slight brake pressure is needed upon lift off. Once you’re airborne the climb is excellent!

And you will find that landing the Colorado is stress free, with tons of energy for flaring and soft landings, even in very light wind.

Many ‘high end’ reflex gliders can have a tendency to roll oscillate under power which requires constant active piloting and makes ‘hands off’ flying difficult. Not so with the Colorado! It is very resistant to oscillation under power. Nor does it have a tendency to pitch up and surge in rough conditions.

The risers are well thought out and designed to be pilot-friendly, keeping them simple and easy to use. Brake toggles are newly equipped with two magnet settings.
