Please DO NOT ARRIVE before 5:00am Thursday, Sept. 6^th , as the airport needs to be clear for mowing.  Rules are common sense, and there is no rating requirement.  No flying is permitted without a signed waiver, briefing, and wristband.  The Airboss keeps the chaos to a minimum on the flight line.  No student solos or unleashed dogs allowed. Gas, restaurants, and hotels are only about a mile away, and Louisville , KY is about 30 minutes South. Primitive on-site camping is free and there’s plenty of room for RV’s (no hookups).

Half-mile of manicured grass runway that’s limited to PPG’s (including those with carts) for this event (sorry, no PPCs or other ultralights without prior approval). A wide variety of farmland, forest, and rolling hills makes this the most scenic flying in the area. The Ohio river and river valley is just to the South. This event is open to the public, and non-pilots are welcome. The fireworks show on Saturday night is locally advertised and sponsored by the Scott County Visitor’s Commission; the public is encouraged to come enjoy the show.

$40 registration includes camping, flying, and Saturday dinner. ($10 donation is expected for additional eating guests to help us cover the food bill).
Fly-in t-shirts are $20.00. Registered pilots will receive a discounted rate of $15.00.
